(I saw this and thought it was quite funny.)

10. For 20 percent of the population, procrastination is a lifestyle. On college campuses, we thought 87 percent sounded more accurate, but we’re no psychologists.

9. Our culture doesn’t take procrastination as a serious problem. They say there’s more of it in the U.S. because we’re nice people and don’t call others out on their laziness. We believe the doctors have never visited New York City or driven through rush hour traffic in Los Angeles.

8. Procrastinators don’t necessarily have time-management problems but are far more optimistic about time than others.

7. We’re not born procrastinators – we make ourselves into them. Some of us learn from our families, others procrastinate to rebel from the strict rules they grew up in. The rest of us just know that writing a history paper drains out every inch of energy from our bodies, both slowly and painfully.

6. The bigger the procrastinator, the higher the consumption of alcohol. Hello, Thirsty Thursdays. And Wasted Wednesdays. And even Trivia Mondays.

5. Procrastinators lie to themselves. Popular lies include, “This can be done tomorrow” and, “I work better under pressure.” Rather than becoming more creative in the end, they continue to not want to do the work and just wind up avoiding it. And that is why projects and paper are called “work.”

4. In order to procrastinate, they actively look for distractions in order to avoid feelings of fear of failure. These distractions are called AIM, Facebook and Myspace. And blogs. And galleries of scantily-clad hot babes.

3. Three basic types of procrastinators are thrill-seekers who like the last minute rush; avoiders who fear failure or success and are overly concerned with how others perceive them; and decisional procrastinators who can’t make… well, decisions.

2. Avoiding life is bad for your health. Procrastinating college students have more colds, flus and gastrointestinal problems as well as insomnia. To think, we blamed the dining halls this whole time.

1. If all of this depresses you or you don’t appreciate our sarcasm, the psychologists say even the worst procrastinator can change. But it takes a lot of psychic energy and might not transform you internally, though it can require “highly-structured cognitive behavioral therapy.”

i think this might come in handy for some of u people.
cause i think this few days the school is kinda infected with the virus flashy.exe

well u can try if got any problems dun find me the process is not done by me not written by me and i am not taking any credits for it

this tutorial is solely written by mr Fan Kaichin

FLASHY VIRUS REMOVAL
(Brought to you by KC)

NOTE: This is just the method I use to delete this virus. If you have a better solution, please post on the comments board.

To check if you have been infected, do ctrl+alt+delete together, on the top left hand, select proccesses, look for flashy.exe. If it is there, you have got the virus!

Anti-virus programs that managed to detect the virus and delete it: AVG, Panda Internet Security, nod32.

My solution would be on nod32 as this is the program I use to remove it from my computer.

Step 1: Download nod32 anti virus software(free).

http://www.eset.com/download/index.php

note: this is a trial version of the software.

Step 2:(ONLY FOR THOSE WITH INFECTED PORTABLE MEDIA, thumbdrive, portable hddr, SD, mem stick, etc.).
Right click your driver in My Computer, select scan with nod32. Whatever comes up, just delete it (click on scan and clean).
DO NOT reformat your thumbdrive first if you want your documents back AND DO NOT reformat your thumbdrive with an infected computer, because the virus will just come back. Lastly, remove your thumbdrive.
(IF IT CANNOT BE SAFELY REMOVED, JUST PULL IT OUT. It is because the virus is actually running in the background. Those who are better at computers can go to task manager and end the task.)

Step 3: Go to Start, click search. Under the advance options, tick on search hidden files and folders, search location would be C Drive. Search for flashy. A file named flashy will appear under the search results. right click and select scan and clean with nod32 (deleting it would be futile as the file will come back a while later.).

Step 4: Go to Start, click run, type msconfig, click startup, disable the startup option named systemID, click apply. And then exit without restart.

Step 5: go to run, type in regedit.
Do this.
Navigate to and revert the following entries to their original values:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesExplorer”NoFolderOptions” = “1″
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerAdvanced”HideFileExt” = “1″
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerAdvanced”Hidden” = “2″
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesSharedAccess”Start” = “4″

Step 6: Restart your computer, open a new window, top left hand menu, select tools, look for folder options, if its there, the virus has been successfully remove, otherwise, repeat step 3.

(There’s a hidden folder under the C drive, program files, windows, somewhere there where I’am not too sure there the folder is located. If you can find that, delete it and the virus would be totally removed, but please leave it alone if you are not too sure.)

Reference:

once again i repeat it is not done by me.
and if anything goes wrong neither me or mr fan kai chin will be held resposible.
